Fuses

 மின் சாதனங்களை அதிகப்படியான மின்னாற்றலில் இருந்து fuse பாதுகாக்கிறது. மின் சாதனங்கலுக்கு மின்னிழை வழியாக அதிகப்படியான மின்னாற்றல் செல்லும் போது மின்னிழை துன்டிக்கப்பட்டு மின்னாற்றல் செல்வது தடுக்கப்படுகிறது.

Circuit Breakers  

    Circuit breakers –ம் மின்னிழை போன்று அதிகப்படியான மின்னாற்றல் மற்றும் மின்னழுத்தம் செல்லும் போது மின்னாற்றலை துன்டிக்கிறது.ஆனால் மின்னிழை போன்று    Circuit breaker-கள் செயலிழந்து விடுவதில்லை. Circuit breaker-ஐ Reset செய்து மீண்டும் circuit-ஐ close செய்யலாம். பெரிய அளவிலான . Circuit breaker ல் Under volt relay, Over volt relay, Over current relay மற்றும் Earth leakage relay –கள் பொருத்தப்பட்டிருக்கும்.
